02 / PRODUCT INFORMATION

Designed for another spectrum.

Description

A specialized infrared photography filter designed to produce a near-monochrome infrared rendering with bright white vegetation and deeper blue skies. The tonal response recalls the classic look of traditional 720nm infrared photography.

The filter emphasises strong tonal contrast between foliage and sky while maintaining clean separation between highlights and shadows, avoiding colour cast in shaded areas.

Designed for full-spectrum cameras, Snowflake is ideal for photographers seeking a classic infrared aesthetic with strong structure and contrast.

Handmade in Barcelona, each filter is carefully assembled and inspected to ensure consistent optical performance and long-term reliability.

Key Features

> White Balance (WB): Recommended to set white balance on green vegetation or green – IR reflecting PVC card.

> Format: Screw-in filter with standard photographic thread for direct mounting on lenses. Due to the filter’s thickness, lens cap retention may be reduced or not possible on some lenses. The filter ring has been kept as thin as possible to minimize the risk of vignetting.

> Hot spot control: It is adviced to be careful on using this fitler with lenses that present Hotspot around 720nm.
